IMPORTANT NEWS: Bale is staying

Last updated : 01 May 2013 By Hog

Following the PFA awards (that I must say he thoroughly deserved to win), Bale himself had calmed all the nerves of the Spurs fans by stating;

"I just take no notice, it's all speculation, I can't do anything about it.

"I just concentrate on my football and play as well as I can and do my best for the team."

Although some media sources have been stating that Real Madrid will be bidding and Man Utd, we are fully aware that Levy's resolve is great, but should Bale’s opinion change on the team and club then we would see a slight different stance. Again though don’t panic as he has said numerous times how happy he is.

Even the pundits have been saying that Bale will stay as he is in love with a club and its fans, the club and fans have given him so much and essentially made him what he is today. Here is what Gary Neville had to say;

"He loves being at the club, from everything he says, and there's no reason why he shouldn't try to give it another go at Tottenham"

So most of the pundits and Bale himself has said that he is staying, but the most important thing for me is that Levy is set to now build his team in the summer. He now see's that AVB is the right man for the job and whether we achieve CL football or not, Levy has seen what the man has done with a little extra cash spent. Sources within WHL have said that Bale will not be leaving the club in the summer and Levy has built up a war chest ready to match the ambitions of the team (not just Bale). It is not Bale that is the sole reason for Levy to state that he will be building a "big" team this summer, it is that he know trusts his manager!

So fellow Spurs fans do not get worked up about whether Bale is staying, as from indirect quotes from Levy 13-14 will be the year of "big" things.

Forgetting all of this though we have no reason to fear that Bale will leave, so I expect to see all the names we want to keep at the Lane next seasons, but as to who the names coming in will be... humm it’s a difficult one?

We are again being linked with a multitude of players, but the one that I would like to see is Ince. I would imagine that although the youngster is used to Liverpool (and its surroundings), but he must feel let down with how they let him go etc. So hopefully this is another player on his way to the Lane.

Once again its a good season and I expect a fantastic end to it with a top 4 finish, although I think it will be down to the last game again! So nails and teeth at the ready, haha.
