Antonio Conte & Ruben Amorim top PSG list of managerial targets

Paris Saint-Germain are weighing up moves for Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte and Sporting boss Ruben Amorim as they prepare to sack Mauricio Pochettino, 90min understands.

90min first reported back in February that PSG and Pochettino were in talks about the prospect of parting ways in the summer.

While the Parisian club romped home to take back their Ligue 1 title from Lille, they fell short again in the Champions League after letting a two-goal lead slip against Real Madrid in the last 16.

Pochettino managed to keep his job until the end of the season but he is now expected to follow sporting director Leonardo out of Parc des Princes.

PSG offered Pochettino's job to Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane, but he has since turned down the role. The club have now switched their attentions to Conte and Amorim, with intermediaries in contact with the pair.

Conte will discuss his future with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy later this week - a prospect he admitted after securing Champions League qualification on Sunday - but the north London side remain confident that the Italian will stay at the club.

Tottenham have long denied that there is a break clause in his contract, which runs until next summer, but sources close to Conte insist one does indeed exist.

Amorim, meanwhile, has emerged as one of Europe's brightest young coaches, notably helping Sporting end their 19-year wait for a Portuguese title last season. He also guided them into the knockout stages of the Champions League for the first time since 2009.
