Tottenham striker Fernando Llorente is hoping to secure a new deal with the club amid interest from teams in Turkey and China.

The Spaniard, 33, will be out of contract with the north London club at the end of the season, although he will hope to be rewarded with a new deal after netting two goals in his last four games.

According to talkSPORT, Llorente is being targeted by teams in China and Turkey, including Super Lig giants Galatasaray, all of whom are keen to sign the forward in the summer on a free transfer.

Despite speculation regarding his future, Llorente has admitted that his sole focus for now is on doing his best for the team while Harry Kane recovers from his injury, with Spurs' top scorer expected to be out of action until March.

Llorente has certainly done well for his side in recent games, scoring the decisive winner in their 2-1 victory against Watford to move Spurs to within two points of Manchester City in the Premier League title race, and the former Swansea man claims it will give him confidence for the remainder of the campaign.

Speaking after the game, he said: "It’s really difficult because Harry is one of the best in the world. The most difficult thing is to be fit when you don’t play because the only way to be fit is to play 90 minutes.

"Training is important but the game is the game. Now I feel every game, I feel much better. Today I feel good. Now I’m very focused to help the team and do my best."

In an interview for the club's official website he added: "It’s a massive result, a massive win. At that moment, it was very special – and after all that running, I was really tired! We ran a lot, we were aggressive, we played well.
