England looks set to be without Harry Kane for Sunday's Nations League visit of Belgium after the Tottenham striker picked up a muscular injury.
Gareth Southgate experimented with his side in the recent friendly win over Wales - with Kane given a rest - but it was widely expected he would return to the side when Roberto Martinez's side came to Wembley.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin deputised as England's leading man for the 3-0 victory over the Welsh, and The Times claim the Everton striker could be asked to keep his place in attack should Kane not be fit as expected. It will nevertheless be a major blow for Southgate, whose side welcome the number one ranked team on the globe on Sunday. Belgium have started their group campaign off with two wins from two, seeing off Iceland and Denmark with a 7-1 aggregate score.
The Three Lions, meanwhile, trudged to a late 1-0 win over Iceland and played out an utterly dismal 0-0 draw with Denmark in their most recent group clash.
Concerns over Kane's fitness will permeate over to Spurs, where Jose Mourinho has already expressed his concerns to Southgate over protecting his star striker while the Premier League takes a backseat.
Aside from a change in attack, Southgate is expected to stick with his 3-4-3 setup but drop Jack Grealish from the side. Aston Villa's captain was named man of the match against Wales, but Mason Mount looks set to take his spot while there will also be recalls for Harry Maguire and Jordan Pickford.
England's lack of an experienced international left wing-back could see Kieran Trippier fill the role once more, with Trent Alexander-Arnold on the opposing flank. Kyle Walker looks set to fill in on the right side of central defence.
