Nothing at all to do with the fact that if Jonathan managed to get Ledley to string along the club & their supporters for the remainder of his contract he will receive a 7 figure sum for his efforts, just like his friend Sky Andrews.
Jonathon of course has timed this one to perfection, just before the transfer windows opens and at a time when Spurs fortunes on the field of play have taken an upturn.
That way he can have maximum negative effect on the club, fortunately as a club we have all been here before.
This time round we need to be strong, Ledley has three years remaining on his contract, so at the end of this season he either extends (Within the current wage structure) or we sell him to the highest bidder.
