Twitter Reacts as Tottenham Blow West Ham Away in First-Half Blitz

Well, Tottenham are going to win the Premier League title. We may as well end the season now.

Okay, maybe that's a bit of an overreaction but still, you have to admit that Jose Mourinho's charges looked ridiculously good during the first half against West Ham on Sunday.

Lined up in a 4-3-3, Spurs were devastating going forward and it took just 45 seconds for Heung-min Son to give them the lead.

The provider of Son's goal? His partner in crime, Harry Kane of course.

Further evidence of the pair's telepathic footballing connection.

It didn't take long for Kane to get in on the act as well. With just eight minutes on the clock, the England skipper made it 2-0, smashing a drive past Fabianski from the edge of the area after nutmegging Declan Rice.

Twitter was loving it. Except West Ham fans of course.

Things really did not get better for the Hammers after that either. Spurs made it three in the 16th minute with a sumptuous cross from Sergio Reguilon being nodded home by the imperious Kane.

Thankfully, the Spurs killing machine somewhat relented thereafter with the David Moyes' side stemming the tide for the rest of the first half.

The damage had already been done though, and Hammers fans were left pretty fuming.

Tottenham though...

Genuine title contenders? Twitter seems to think so at least.
