Tottenham Star commits to LONG future

Coming up through the ranks at Tottenham everyone hoped that as a true fan to the club the player would not look to move on too quickly.

Despite links to Real Madrid, Man Utd and a few unworthy transfer rumours Kane is fully focused on Tottenham and winning trophies for them and country.

My question is why is it that only players brought up through the ranks truly have the wish to stay at the one club?

Clubs have worked hard to settle in players and fans show their appreciation, but still this is not enough for players to want to stay. Look at Ronaldo moving from United to Real Madrid. Ok he may have won the Champions League with Real, but he could have done so by staying on with Utd for certain.

It's a shame that players heads are so easily turned by money. Clubs are more than happy to do everything they can do make things work for a player, whether it be on the pitch or off the pitch.

Kane (at the moment) seems like one of the players that are in it for the game not the money linked to the game.

He does deserve to be rewarded with a bigger a contract, but it should be heavily linked to goals scored. The more goals are scored the higher his wages. If he has another season of 20+ goals than he should have a fixed monetary windfall in terms of a contract.

What is important is to fill the team with more players that will give 100% at least 80% of the time. Kane does this, but sometimes moves out of the picture due to poor performance from the rest of the team.

Again this is way I do not see players such as Lavezzi, he was good but is now too old for MoPo at the age of 30.

Let's hope that we see players like Schneiderlin and Clyne coming from Southampton as they would not only give the team stabilisation, but will add reliable players with a very high work rate!
