Tottenham Hotspur have suffered an injury blow with the confirmation on Thursday that right-back Pedro Porro will spend around four weeks on the sidelines due to a hamstring injury.
The 27-year-old was forced off after only 18 minutes during Spurs 3-2 home defeat against Aston Villa last weekend.
The setback leaves head coach Roberto De Zerbi with a major dilemma on the right side, as Porro represents the squad only senior natural right back following the summer exit of Djed Spence.
The Spanish international has featured four times this season, but this latest physical problem will rule him out of upcoming league clashes against Manchester United and Coventry City.
With attacking figures such as Dejan Kulusevski, Xavi Simons, and Wilson Odobert already receiving medical attention, De Zerbi is likely to rely on teenager Archie Gray or central defender Jan Paul van Hecke to deputise on the right when domestic action resumes.
