26th Time Lucky?

Let me take you back to 1990, it was the year that free scoring Gary Lineker had his worst goal scoring season for Tottenham (a measly 19 goals in 43 appearances), I joke obviously. It was Lineker that won the last game for Tottenham at Stamford Bridge 2-1 (with David Howells chipping in with the other goal).

Since then we have seen 17 different managers and Chelsea have seen 16 wins and nine draws (not great reading).

However this is the best all round team that we have seen at White Hart Lane (in the EPL) and in my opinion the best manager since the start of the EPL.

So I have every confidence to move forward and see this 26th attempt as a monumental occasion, where we beat Utd at Old Trafford and Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the same season!

We owe Chelsea for the home game that we lost 4-2 and for AVB who was treated so badly by the players and RA. Let’s stick it to those Chelsea fans that joined with their players against AVB

For me I really can see a win tonight and will be cheering at the top of my lungs along with the rest of the Spurs fans at Stamford tonight. May even have a few beers to go with it.
