What I would rather tackle is whether selling Ade is necessary or the correct choice.
Some have said that Ade and AVB did not see eye to eye for much of the campaign and promises were made and this is why Ade had not been performing. However I do not think that the player has shown us the respect that would come with such a large contract. As a player he owed it to us fans to play to the best of his ability at all times. It's not as if we were a free spending club, we really pushed the boat out for Ade!
Ade was fantastic in his loan season and whether it was to fight for a contract or he simply linked up well with our team at the time, I will always be grateful for that one season.
For the good of the club the player should be sold. It will free up the wage bill and bring in a small amount of money to look at signing a youngster in his position.
I think this one is a no brainer so let's hope that Schalke do in fact buy our over paid man and allow us to look to bring in a youngster to learn form Soldado.
