Andros MOTM, but what about Soldado

Roberto Soldado not only scored his first goal in open play, but had also set up Townsend’s first goal.

According to Squawka Soldado scored the most points of all players with 47 points in yesterday’s game. I have to say that this is a great sign that the player is settling well.

Did you also notice the link up play with Holtby? You can now understand why Holtby was started. I realise that the link up was few and far between, but it’s a good sign of things to come right?

There have been comparisons of Soldado's and Wilshire's goal, with Tottenham fans stating that Wilshire did not intend his pass (meaning it is not a clinical goal). If you look at it in this way I would have to agree, but I have to push out to all Tottenham fans, WE DO NOT NEED TO MAKE THESE COMPARISONS. Friedel has compared the striker to his ex team mate Fowler, but for me again, why compare. Fowler was never as technically gifted as Soldado, however I would never argue on his goalscoring ability.

Soldado's goal was precision at its best, starting from Holtby, to Paulinho and then superb finishing by the striker.

Soldado's tally is now up to 3 goals in 8 (in the league) and I am sure against Hull on Sunday we can expect to see him get on the score sheet again.
