The outspoken left back had stated earlier in the summer that he would like to see out his career at Tottenham, however since injury he has found it difficult to break into the team and maintain his place.
Vertonghen and Naughton had filled in well in his absence and it is unlikely that the player is to remain at the club. This rumour is given further leg’s as Benni had not featured in any of the Asia Trophy games.
It is said that there are an abundance of clubs interested in the player, but France is believed to be his likely destination.
