I like the fact that AVB fully recipricates the respect and love that we have for him.
Here is what AVB had to say about us fans;
"The supporters were excellent against Manchester City, even after we went 1-0 down early, there could have been moments of anxiety but they were magnificent."
“That makes all the difference. It’s a special stadium and the opponents can feel it. City was an example of that.”
So that is a clear indictaiton that come what may the players and AVB are asking that we cheer and keep cheering.
We know that Southampton have nothing to play for now, but it's a silly underestimation to make of a team that have certainly pulled off some surprising results! Composure is key and we cannot have fans spoiling this by booing at any point in the game.
I couldn't care a less if you disagree, as you should support your team no matter and although I have managed to be pulled out of the country for the game I will be making sure that I am watching the game by hook or by crock.
