According to the media they would have you think that at the beginning of the season Ade walked into a team meeting wearing a Beanie and refused to take it off.
However the issue was that AVB never wanted the striker in the first place! How is it that the media come up with this rubbish, provide zero quotes or proof and then sign off this story as the truth behind the break up of a relationship.
The truth is that AVB asked for Levy to cancel the transfer between Man City and Tottenham for Ade, of which they couldn't. Plus Levy saw no reason to cancel the transfer of a striker that scored 17 goals and notched up 11 assists. It was crazy, however AVB then dug his heels in and proved his immaturity. Ade then got fed up and then spat his toys out of the pram (no surprise, but they are all in the wrong).
It made for a big stand off that obviously Ade has won and now proved AVB wrong. Every stage AVB did his best to sell Ade in each transfer window, but the player never wanted to leave.
Now it seems that Ade has proven a point. He never wanted to be frozen out, he always wanted to play and now he is out for blood. His name has been dragged through the mud and damaged his reputation beyond no end.
Fortunately Tottenham are now in full benefit of it along with his teammates and fans, as he sets out to clawl back every bit of his reputation.
I cannot wait for the next game, I think about the next game with great excite rather than fear or concern as to what AVB will do next with the team.
I still feel for AVB in that he has all the tools to become the next big thing, but unfortunately things did not work out and he refused to look at his own issues.
I hope for him he realises before he completely destroys the reputation he built up.
As for the club I am glad to see the change in the team, that Sherwood, Les and Chris have all installed into them.
Move of it and less of the rubbish from the media!
