However we have seen that there is in fact major movement.
Huddlestone has been given permission for a permanent move to Fulham, Redknapp has made moves for Bentley and Jenas on loan, whilst there are talks of enquiries for Townsend from Redknapp. So with a permanent move now for Huddlestone and some temporary space freed up you can imagine that there is space being made for someone.
Apart from Townsend you would expect for QPR and Tottenham's other deals to be a loan and end of season buy offers.
There will be more to come in the day, but one thing is clear AVB is making a lot of statements that are not turning out to be true, so I really hope that with the opposite seeming true with departures maybe it will be the same with arrivals!
