AVB the front runner? Still no mention of Rijkaard?

Welcome Joachim Low to the manager Merry-Go-Round. Looking at his figures this manager boasts 53.29% win ratio! So for a start this guy has something to boast that takes us forward from Redknapp (who just couldn't break the 50% only just falling short with 49.49%!).

Low although having a great record with Germany this is a manager with not much to his name and using my crude points system again he amasses a small 9 points! However if I am entirely honest Low has grown as a manager since he was involved with the German National side, so there are positives to take from that.

I once again have to point to Frank Rijkaard. I have contacted his agent and they are yet to confirm or reject that there is contact from Tottenham (so is no news good news?). Ok if we look at the win ration for Rijkaard it stands at 52.90%, but you only need to look at who he is no managing now (Saudi) to understand how his win ration would be affected.

The philosophy I prefer to follow is no news is good news and there has been no real communication coming from Spurs, so it could easily be that none of the candidates in the paper are in fact even real candidates.

Is it likely though with no managerial candidates being confirmed by Tottenham that the real candidates are tied in a current competition? Or is it that Levy really is taking a step back after a rather rash decision with Redknapp?

Only time will tell....

One thing I will say though that has caught my eye "Tottenham" striker Louis Saha's comments on Blanc. He is no longer a Spurs player (and unfortunately due to how old he was coming to us he was never going to be a Tottenham player), it shows how desperate the papers are to get any angle on the vacant position at Tottenham. Sometimes I like that, but at times like this when the fans and players are desperate for reassurance from our club, why or why is it that Levy feels its best to say nothing? ENIC are PR guru's and it has been said in the past, but why or why can they not realise that a football club and a business must be approached very differently.

Oh and for those that wonder why I have not mentioned Capello, he's not a candidate, he couldn't manage the national side, he will struggle in the Premier League.

Come on you Spurs
