Franco Baldini has been on the radar at Spurs for some time. However all seemed to be dying away as he was committed to Roma.
Now things seem to be changing again. After another disappointing season at Roma of a 6th place finish things are about to be shaken up themselves. Roma President James Pallotta and Baldini are scheduled to meet today and it is thought that Baldini is set to offer to leave.
All of this will come down to whether Pallotta will aceept this or look to place Baldini somewhere else.
Suffice to say Baldini's influence has not worked on Roma, but with a major shake up at White Hart Lane, a fresh young manager who will want to learn from Baldini and Chairman willing to spend you can only imagine that Baldini would happily and finally make the move to London.
What are your thoughts on Baldini. Is he another unnecessary expense or do we need Baldini and his well known highly valuable contacts?
