Bale Latest & opinion

Last updated : 05 August 2013 By Hoggg

Marca and Tap'em Up Madrid have done their best to force through what they want, but like most Spurs fans I am confused of the situation. My confusion though is how the English press use Marca as their solid source?

Marca has been ridiculous in their accusations being well off the mark numerous times. If we are to believe Marca then they have publically stated that Tap'em Up Madrid have tapped up Bale, but yet UEFA and Platini do nothing? The whole reason that nothing has happened is because it is all utter lies!

What is obvious is that Spur’s position has never changed on their prize asset. AVB has stated again that Bale is not for sale.

Although Bale has not featured in the recent game against Monaco it is due to injury, or are we to believe the English press in that Tottenham are lying? No I choose to believe my club, not the Spanish press!

Now we hear that Bale is to refuse to show up for training tomorrow? More and more rubbish

Well let's take things nice and slow and step by step:

All the reports that have been printed have come from Marca. This is a Madrid media source that may as well be owned by Tap'em Up Madrid. If we are to believe Marca the deal was done over a month ago now! The whole "no smoke without fire" comment is banded about a lot, but the English press are lazy in their pursuit, the fact that they have failed to get any direct quotes themselves from Bale should show this. The quotes they use again come from Marca and leaked conversations from Marca. I have spoken to an individual at the Daily Star who stated there were quotes in his articles, but he nor the Star get the quotes direct. They have all been playing a game of Chinese whispers! How else can you explain the constant reports coming from everywhere, but still nothing has happened. No tapping up complaints, no admission from Bale, it is all one big mess caused by Marca and Tap'em Up Madrid in hope that it cause Tottenham so many issues that they wipe their hands of Bale.

I have been called mad and ignorant upon my postings of my two pents on all this (people are certain Bale has gone). However Spurs fans we are yet to see AVB or any club official statement that Bale is for sale and each time all that has been said is the same “NO SALE” statement.

However there is nothing to say that Tap'em Up Madrid have not been speaking to Tottenham, there is nothing to say that verbal offers have not been made. I can agree that there has been this level of contact, but each time Tap'em Up Madrid have been told he is not for sale.

The final piece of this jigsaw is how the overall sale could take place. Madrid owe a substantial amount to numerous clubs over the purchase of players, most importantly Tottenham have still yet to receive even HALF of the Luka deal funds. So how can Tap'em Up Madrid afford £80million plus? It's quite simple, they cannot. So therefore if the club cannot afford to pay this up front why should we even begin to entertain the Fraudsters of Madrid?

The club should be looking out for Bale's best interest as well as the club and being very honest Tap'em Up Madrid is not the place for him to go and certainly not now. Ian Rush has even come out and said it's at least the wrong time for him! Hoddle (who is bias) said it's similar, but it is Rush that should be paid attention to (whether we had agreed with his comments or not).

As I have stated numerous times Tap'em Up Madrid is a club where true accomplished players should only make a move. Far too many young players have moved there only to be slated by the club and fans due to their impatient and insatiable appetite to win everything (and worse by 3+ goals every time). Any player that is to move to such a club should not only be at the top of his game, but going into the same position in that team and have a mountain of experience to fall back on. There are far too many issues with Bale moving to Madrid in terms of his personal career, but the only thing that SEEMS good is that his brand would get a lot bigger. Then again if they lose their patience with him his brand would be destroyed faster than he could imagine. I also do not believe that Ancelotti is a great manager, good maybe but not good enough for what is needed at a club like Tap’em Up Madrid.

For me IF Bale wishes to leave that is a different story. No one wants a player that’s head has been completely turned (to the degree that he has lost his way). There is no coming back from that. I do not believe over half of this story, but you would be stupid to think that Bale hasn't considered the move.

As a player for Tottenham I do believe he is the best player, I can honestly say he would progress further under our club than any other club (as he is settled into the squad that is growing in talent and experience), but if we cannot offer Champions League consistently it would obviously hinder his career in the long term. This is why the agents would be pushing for a move away (oh and the fact that they would make a substantial amount of money)

I do not wish to see Bale leave, but I understand the natural behaviour to want more, to want to play with and against the world's best (its natural for any sports person).

This whole thing may change suddenly, but this whole saga will end in disaster for someone and as it stands it's Tap'em Up Madrid that are the only one's making a fool of themselves.

We moan about Levy, but as at the moment I am proud of his resilience and hope that he continues to fight hard for our club and our player's future (as in Bale).

COYS!!!
