This would certainly suggest that Bale will in fact be staying in the UK and for at least another year.
With all the rumours flying around you would imagine that he will have to be in the UK a lot to adhere to his new contract with them so we can all breath a strong sigh of relief (for the time being).
I guess we should remember that Bale has never said he wants to leave now, but would like to look at Spain in the future. Most papers and gossipers are keen to put that as he is leaving in the next window, but we can certainly put all this to rest for now.
The immediate future of Gareth seems to be put to rest for more than one year though as he has signed a 3 year deal!
