In my opinion Gareth Deserves every penny that is in his contract. By far our best player this season, recognised by winning all annual EPL awards and his goals alone has masked the issue of not having a striker that can consistently perform throughout a season.
Now it has been announced by the papers and I would like to say that an announcement is expected over the next 2 weeks, but dependent on the result Sunday it may come as early as next week.
Bale is happy to stay, money was not really the issue (unlike most players), but what Levy and Co are hoping to do is pay close to the "Giants of Europe" salaries to avoid a money issue coming up. Bale wanted to get clarification that we will be pushing on this summer in building a team (no matter of C.L. qualification). Bale like any decent player was been dreaming of playing in the C.L. ever since our cameo appearance and that has not changed.
All we need to remember is to only panic when Bale states he has decided to move abroad (this is I am ready to move statement), this is why at the moment he states he is not sure.
Have a little faith people, but again let's concentrate on Sunday!!!
