After there were some articles released about Bernard Anício Caldeira Duarte, I had a fair few emails asking if I knew who he was.
As a football fan I like to watch as much football as possible. So I do watch the occasional game in the Brazilian league and highlights etc.
A name that I was aware of thanks more to some emailed linked rather than realising who he is from some watched games I realised that this youngster certainly seems to have the talent.
He can play on the left or right and is probably about Lennon's size, but man can the boy play (a different league), but again its from what I have seen, rather than seeing a full season (knowing he can perform consistently).
I know many of you will take to You Tube and declare that he is the next Ronaldinho and so, yes he is a good player and has potential to be a great one, which is why I think it is unlikely that Tottenham will even get sniff at this player. At the age of just 20 he is a firm fan favourite at Mineiro (along with Ronaldinho) for his pace, quick feet, ball control and a sight for goal.
He only has 1 national cap so a work permit would be just as difficult to achieve as getting in before the other clubs.
It’s another Brazilian wonder kid, but let's just stop it there. This kid is known by all the top teams, there are reports of interest from some of Europe's Elite so just don't kid yourself with the notion that we are in for this kid.
