Which I am sure Levy is not stupid enough to let slip considering how badly he is looked upon in the footballing world at present.

Right now I have devised a points system to show just how much the individuals are worth a look at.

The points work as follows;

European Appearance 1 point - 3 point for European Champions

League Titles 3 points for Premier, 2 points for Championship (or Div 1) and 1 Point for lower success.

National Cups 1 point for each cup won.

So I will start with my least Favourite Roberto Martinez. Roberto is not truly a successful manager. Martinez has only won a League 1 title. Although he has age on his side that gives Martinez 1 point in total! This is a manager that has playing experience with England (but at lower levels). The only true achievement I can see to date is that he has helped Wigan avoid relegation. This has resulted in praise for the manager of late, however is this praise deserved? Martinez had adopted a rather gun-hoe approach to avoid relegation, which has resulted in the some good displays. However you must ask yourself why was this not adopted in the first place (the better performances). To me this shows the immaturity of his managering experience and although he may blossom into a decent manager I do not rate him highly at all.

David Moyes is the next in terms of points. Teams under him have had 4 seasons of European appearances, which gives a total of 4 points and 1 second division title (1 point) and no cup success. So this would give David Moyes 5 points however I cannot ignore that he has won 3 LMA manager of the year which I will award 3 points for. So this would give David Moyes 8 points. My concern is that his style does not fit the style of the current players at Spurs at all. Moyes in my opinion is a little overrated considering his lack of success in winning honours.

Finally we move onto Andre Villas-Boas. Now this is a manager with no experience in playing at all. However this is the man that Bobby Robson put faith in and handed Andre the opportunity to obtain his badges. He was also then kept under the wing of Jose "The Special One" at Porto, Chelsea and Inter before he went on to manager a team himself. Although AVB may have limited experience to build his reputation he has helped Porto to winning the Europa League (3 points for the win and 1 point for the appearance), a league title (another 3 points) and 2 cups (thats 2 points). So this puts AVB at 9 points. Although this guy seems to be the best manager out of a bad/ OK bunch there are concerns. At the age of 34 will AVB achieve the respect a manager should get without playing at all and having limited experience? To me it would not matter as you are paid as a footballer to do as you are told, but players get pig headed so it is cause for concern.

So with all this in mind I have a wild card to offer (which comes thanks to another article I have read on the internet). Now this is an achievable name and although I would love Pep or Jose this name will dingle the bells I think for most fans.

Frank Rijkaard. The is a man that really needs no introduction, due to player and manager experience. On my points system he has over 30 points, which is made up of La Liga Title's, Champions League Titles, Cups, UEFA management Awards, La Liga Management awards and a win rate of 58.61%. Although he has been out of the game for a while (the only reason for being released in Turkey was because Hadji the Romaninan Legend there had replaced him)! He is the type of manager that can attract the big names, he has experience at national level, what else could you ask for? On top of this he is available (not linked to any club and his style would suit the team).

So forget Pep and Jose then wipe out Martinez and Moyes who are just not good enough and finally AVB's experience concerns me, Frank is the man to take us forward. He has the tactical know, managerial experience and has been awarded at the highest of levels. Is there any question as to whether this is the person for us? Pep Guardiola took over a world best squad that was already winning and somehow took them another step on, so lets not forget that Frank started the turn for Barca and laid the foundations to who they are today. The option is simple Frank. AVB is a big gamble (but I see some sense in his appointment).

What are your thoughts in this? Does Frank Rijkaard float your boat or is he seen as a risk?? Oh and I know my point system is rather basic, but there is no other way of really putting it all into statistics.
