I had been informed that a new contract had been put together for Bale and talks were already ongoing. The club and Bale have made it clear that he will be staying and part of the reason for this was the contract.
Bale's new contract will break our wage structure (as to how much is no one’s business), I will leave that to be announced by the tabloids! However there will be clauses inserted into the contract for the player. As said earlier Champions League is what Bale expects and the club will match Bale’s ambition and make this summer the time to stake a claim for a consistent "Top 4" finish.
AVB has said that summer spending was on the cards and now it officially breaks with news that Bale will be the first to enjoy the breaking of our financial structure.
With my articles sometimes you will have to read between the lines as I am at times privy to information that I refuse to publish directly (for fear of losing my contacts).
Either way fellow Yids rest assured, Bale is staying, AVB will receive support from Levy and if we don’t get Champions League this season, Levy is going all out to get it next season by adding the much needed recruits.
All of the dots are now connecting as the news begins to come out.
So just to make it as clear as possible, Bale is staying after being presented with a new contract and being shown that Levy will commit the needed funds to back AVB fully, all part of the building a squad around Bale.
