Well I don't want to have to point out that I was the first to highlight that JD was playing with an injury and has been since last year.
His involvement in games highlights this further. Ade had been preferred to JD in pretty much all of the games following Ade's return from Africa, need I say more?
It is obvious that the club are not wanting to admit that JD has been injured for such a lengthy period and have kept his "patching up" as quiet as possible.
I was surprised to see JD's goal scoring suddenly stop, also to see his performances dip at such an alarming rate.
The injury has been there since last season, JD is desperate to add more to his tally (thus wanting to play), but simply he has not been allowed the time to properly recover from his injury at the end of last year.
It's the one thing that has been handled dreadfully this season, managment of our forwards (whether it’s their injury's, introduction to the squad, or making new purchases). We have not got a forward to replace the goals scored by Ade last season. I realise that Bale is scoring for fun at the moment, but if Bale is that man (making up for Ade) who is making up for the goals lost and assisted by VDV?
Come on guys, give JD a break its the clubs poor handling of it all and he needed time to get back to fitness not patch him up and chuck him out on the pitch!
I am glad that Basel and Everton are 2 of the 3 games he is supposedly out for!
