Caulker leaves in £8million deal

Steven Caulker has now moved to Cardiff City in an £8million deal.

In all honesty I was shocked to see that we have let the young chap leave. Since his loan move to Swansea we have seen Caulker feature in numerous games this season. So as to why he has been sold I am mystified.

Steven had been with the club since 2007. He was loaned out to Yeovil in 2009, Bristol in 2010 and Swansea in 2011. This season Caulker had shown his worth and made 18 appearances for our club whilst scoring 2 goals. He had scored the winning goal against Man City away!

Steven also had his break through into the England squad with a game against Sweden and managed to score on his debut.

I for one wish Steven the best at his new club and hope that he does not put in a stellar performance when we play Cardiff this season (haha).

One thing I will say is that the reports of signing Vlad Chiriches cannot be far off or we would not have sold Caulker in the first place. Its a bizarre transfer and I can’t say I'm happy, but in AVB we trust!

COYS!!!
