What I find strange is the time it has taken to tie this up? Essentially The player does not have to complete a medical in the UK and the terms can be agreed via email and then officially signed and sealed by a notary before originals are posted etc. So I cannot understand the time taken in finalising this?
Either way the Belgian has completed his £7million move from FC Twente and will be able to play in the pre-season friendly against the big spenders Monaco.
It has come at a good time especially as the team seemed to lack the imagination against Sunderland for around 70% of the game.
Just need to get Paulinho in the team and finalise the signing of Soldado.
