AVB is being fully backed by the board and as it stands he has added two midfielder that both have a promising future. Chadli I see as cover for either flank whilst he grows and adapts his game to the Premier League.
As you will remember with Bale and Lennon out last season we completely lacked cover on the wings and this signing will without a doubt be an improvement to our squad.
Chadli has represented his national side 14 times and scoring 2 goals (although he did represent Morocco for a friendly international previously).
Chadli will be our third Belgian in the squad and I am sure he will fit in well.
Hopefully he is a player that you all remember for scoring against us in the Champions League for FC Twente in a 4-1 win for us.
Having scored 18 goals in 26 appearances for Twente last season it is no surprise that the board have made this acquisition.
However it will come as a surprise to many fans that we have signed another midfielder, as I have said we are in store for surprises and this is the kind of surprise I had been talking about.
Let's see more of it, but more importantly a new striker!!!
