Close, but no cigar.... not just yet anyway

10 of our players looked committed and ready to push for the cause yesterday. However there was 3 in my opinion that were outstanding and that is Lennon, Walker and of course Sandro.

It gives a new meaning to the saying blood sweat and tears when you see your players on the pitch throwing up, but still continuing (and not letting it affect their performance). However I do remember this happening before with Sandro (so it must be nerves over an important game).

The team played well together and I believe that Danny Rose should also get a special mention as he looked like a regular left back/ left wing back.

It was a little unfortunate that we did not score more, but the win is what is important and I am not going to let that spoil my day, as the 3 points is what we needed.

The commentators summed it up, our fast passing and movement were back! This is what we were missing and it really showed yesterday that the team seem to have rediscovered that great form that had 3rd place tied up. However there is one reason why I believe that we did not score more and it was due to the laziness of 1 man and I don't really care if no one likes me saying it, but Bale had 2 headers and other than that he had no interest. Could not be bothered to chase the ball down, if he lost the ball he just shrugged his shoulders. What is his problem? Well I have ideas behind this and a story will follow up on him alone shortly.

Now seems to be when Spurs have seen the errors of their ways and as long as we keep hold of that dominance then yes 9 points will be banked come the end of the season and 4th is ours, however could we see Arsenal slip up again to let us in with another chance to regain 3rd. Obviously I am one that really hopes so and will be backing the guys with my own money I am that confident now.

Come On You Spurs!!
