Coentrao next in

Firstly Fabio is a more accomplished out and out left back than we have in our squad (not including Jan he is a centre back). The potential addition of Fabio would add vast strength and balance to our back four. With the likes of Coentrao and Walker on the wings of our defense you would not laugh if I said we would have one of the strongest back fours in the league.

However we are getting ahead of ourselves. Chelsea supposedly 'want' the left back (as to why when they have Cole and the great talents of Bertrand), not to mention that if his availability changed he would be highly sought after.

Tap'em Up Madrid would only be willing to sell their players if they have a chance or first refusal of signing Bale, so any deal done with them now would likely signal that there is some future agreement in place. Let's face it Tap'em Up Madrid would not sell to us without getting something for themselves (and I'm not talking money).

I would love to see this talented and quick left back come to WHL and really balance our defense, but I am not going to get ahead of myself in this one. People and reporters have said it's absolute rubbish and others that it would only happen upon a future first refusal for Bale (so who knows on this news).

We have approximately 3 weeks left of the transfer window and I expect to see our transfers edging more toward end of transfer window (as we know Levy can't refuse a last minute play).

COYS!!!
