The most important thing for me was the strong showing of Spurs youth within the team, however I was surprised not to see Tom Carroll's name at least on the sheet.
Danny Rose, Adam Smith and Andros Townsend all played their part, but most notably was in fact the now rapidly rising star Townsend.
Townsend was certainly looking dangerous on the right of midfield and kept the Austria team guessing as he put in a mixture of passes.
Danny Rose also managed a goal line clearance, but none of our guys managed to get on the score sheet in a game that finished in a 4-0 victory for our young lions.
The team did have a helping hand however as Austria had a man sent off in each half of the game, Pearce even said that they would have been happy for the keeper to have stayed on.
So a good showing for the Spurs youth system again, hopefully next time we will see four names on that sheet.
