Everton vs Tottenham

We have failed to win at Goodison Park since a 2-1 win back in 2007, but Everton have also failed to win a game in the past 7. The good news is that Everton have conceded the most goals in the opening 15 minutes which has been when we are at our deadliest of recent.

Fellaini is the key man to watch out for at the moment with 5 goals in the past 5 games, so our lads must be very vigilant for all set pieces.

As it stands we shall still be without Bale, Parker, Dawson and BAE. However we have now won our last 4 matches and have faced opposition as strong as Everton (some with a better home record).

I am quietly confident for this fixture and it seems that with Defoe in such hot form, along with Dempsey finding his old form we are beginning to now find our feet. This will certainly be a close game and although I am no gambler I think that we will find the strength to battle it out for a 0-1 victory.

One stat that I like to look on is that if a match was only 80 minutes we would be top of the premier league, so come on lads let get the final 10 sorted and keep possession, that 3rd spot is calling us and Chelsea are indeed on the back foot.

Come on you Spurs!!!
