Fan's wrongly blame Soldado

Numerous Tweets and Facebook comments were put out after Sunday's defeat. Fan's have been growing increasingly concerned by the lack of style and pace, but the huge issue is the lack of goals and the worst goal conversion rate in the league.

Yes we had lost by a goal in a few games, but we failed to score. Again against City the team failed to score. We get into some good positions, but fail to score.

Fans took to social media networks after seeing a performance that earned the team -169 points!

These are just a few of the Tweets;

"Spurs main problem is that Soldado is rubbish and doesn't move for the ball."

"Soldado is probably the worst summer signing. So crap and overrated."

"Unfortunately for Spurs fans, the excuse of "Soldado is isolated" will not be accepted for today's pasting."

Again I feel that people are looking for a quick fix in the current demise. It is pure stupidity to look at one player. If we had of lost 1-0 to Lloris's mistake I believe we would have put the spotlight on him.

Frustration is expected and I share those frustrations, but it is not with one particular person. A player can be isolated, but it can be of his own cause (so it's 50/50), so I am angry, but what is the manager doing to change this?

I am sure that both Soldado and the rest of team are aware of what they must do put it right. The true issue for me is the complete lack of confidence. The lack of confidence is the managers issue however and it is now when AVB should be earning his money.

Soldado will have wanted for the ground to swallow him up on Sunday, but that is unfair. It is a team game and we win or lose as a team. Everyone is at fault and not one single player can walk away holding their head high for the tremendous loss.

If Soldado cannot score within the next two games though we will need to drop him and do something to help the causes of his problems. We must be pro-active not reactive.

COYS!!!!
