Over the international break 4 of our players have scored!
What a time to find your scoring boots! JD and Siggy has both managed to get onto the score sheet twice. With some important games coming up we will need JD to be in top form and although he was playing against the likes of San Marino it will be a big confidence boost.
Clint Dempsey and Lewis Holtby also found themselves on the score sheet for their country and I am certain that these 2 players will be pushing to get into the starting 11.
Many fans do not believe that Dempsey is a worthy player for the squad, however you do not manage to score 17 goals in a season if your a poor player. We have kept JD on and he scored less than Dempsey last season!
My opinion is that this break will do the players good for their confidence and their form will reflect that in the next few coming games.
