All this news of players coming back is just too exciting! It’s funny to see all the fans turn against AVB one minute and then love him the next... but it’s the life of a fan!
Scott Parker is set to be cleared as fully fit in 2 weeks according to AVB today. Which in all honesty could not have come at a better time. We have been missing our very own captain marvels commitment and grit. Ok Sandro has done a great job, but we still need SP back.
As it stands Dembele's come back has given the team a push it need (did everyone know that we have not lost a game that MD has started?).
With the anticipation of SP coming back it seems that all this news is spurring the team on and giving them a bit of self belief and something to look forward to.
With a midfield of SP, Sandro, Dembele, Lennon and Bale I think that we are looking at a frightening prospect for our opposition. Dempsey is starting to come back strong and Defoe playing well and Ade (after his suspension) will come back fighting for the lone striker role, things could only be better with the return of Kaboul and BAE.
The defence is the only shaky part of our team, but they are still learning to play with Lloris and Vertonghen and with a back 4 that is not settled it does make it difficult.
Either way its great news to see SP almost back ready for first action.
One thing I really must ask though is if fans are still against AVB, let me know if you are still not convinced by him.
