Levy's Gagging for it

If Redkanpp was not leaving a clear statement would be made from him and the club. Is it a big disappointment that he is going to jump ship when we are so close to something special, but I really cant understand why he would.

One thing is clear Capello is not a replacement at all! Look at the national teams performance and you can see why he is not suited to the Premier League.

But if Redknapp goes who do you bring in? I see so many names being linked and only one interests me, but is it realistic? Jose Mourinho is the only viable option in my little opinion, not the likes of Moyes, Lambert, Klinsman or Pardew.

If we finish in the top 4 (which is now a big IF with the poor performances of recent) why would Levy take a step back with anyone with no Champions League experience or no title challenge experience (in Italy, Spain or England).

Whether other fans like it or not Tottenham will demand someone of pedigree. This is why Jose is my only choice that may become available and although we were close to getting him before, you have to ask why didn’t we get him. I fear it is the lack of true ambition of the club.

Modric made it clear and is still yet to sign a contract and even the now quiet Bale came out that he wants to leave in the future (what he meant was that he wanted to notify the European Giants thats he’d listen to offers).

If Redknapp goes, so will Modric, Bale and VDV. Any club pushing for the title has to make purchases in the January window and for us it was essential to keep up.

Now history is repeating itself and we have begun to falter. A loss or draw to Everton tomorrow puts Arsenal right back in the frame! We were 10 points clear narrowed to 4 points and with anything other than a win its going to make things very difficult.

The one clear danger game we have left is against Chelsea and without a big bounce back in the league we will be in serious danger of dropping out of a Champions League spot for next year.

In order to move on Levy must tell the fans what is happening as the players clearly know (just look at the performances since the FA came knocking). Take the gag off, release the news we all know is coming and offer the players something to keep them fighting....

Come On You Spurs!
