A fee of £7m is expected with Dnipro unwilling to lose the player for free come the summer.
If Levy has any smarts we should be agreeing terms immediately with the player for a free summer move and offer Dnipro a nominal £4m fee for a quick transfer.
This is some good business if in fact the reports are true with Liverpool failing in a £20m bid last year.
For me I believe that Spurs need just a few key signings to help gel the team and this could be one of the most important signings for the team.
Whether the player is worth the £20m originally agreed is irrelevant for me, just that it is very important for Spurs to finally make the important signings in the January window that would be the difference in pushing for a top 4 spot.
The club have been very tight lipped on any transfer with slight whispers coming out of the club through extrenal sources only.
