MoPo's Mistake - £26m Striker

Thats aside the huge question mark for me remains his man management skills.

Roberto Soldado is without a doubt one of the best strikers in Europe, he is a sleeping giant. You can be guaranteed where ever he goes (if sold off) that he would begin to score goals.

The problem with Soldado is not just that we are playing to 0 of his strengths, but also that there is a serious physiological issue. Never before has this striker found it so difficult to score. He has never faced this sort of issue before. It is obvious that the striker is not able to slip into the usual auto pilot with us and not over think his opportunities.

Now though he is struggling and MoPo has highlighted that he is also struggling (but in man management).

Just look at when Soldado misses an opportunity (forget a golden one), it is a look of absolute despair. You can tell that he is thinking "back at Valencia I would have scored that".

In order to bring Soldado's confidence back it is obvious that a specialist is needed.

However this all could be one big ploy! Maybe MoPo does not wish to openly discuss the problems of the forward (making the situation worse on the pitch)?

For me benching the player is the wrong approach. If you want to the player to progress you start by playing him. Europe and Cups now are his place. Let Kane continue in the league and give Robbie the opportunity to show in a place where we don't have to finish with a trophy!

What are your thoughts? Should Robbie be dropped? Should we get him a specialist or should we just give up? I think my choice is obvious
