More frustration against Stoke

However didn't we make it hard for ourselves?

Charlie Adam should never have been given a footballing contract so to see him get sent off (again) for attempted GBH is no surprise. It was the pivotal part of the game, but whether Tony P agrees with it or not Adam's should have been sent off.

Until this point you could tell the tension in the away end was not great. 2 silly mistakes by either teams defence gifted each team their goal, but there was no real push, or real threat in the box.

Even once Adam's was sent off we were far too relaxed as if we were owed the 3 points. I mean to see players telling each other to slow it down, calm down, I almost had a heart attack!

Again we seemed to miss Bale and Lennon (blending into the midfield). There were glimpses but no real stand out moments for me.

That aside though we managed another 3 points from the game. Overall maybe it was the fact that the players were so confident that we actually did manage to score. Maybe if we had snatched at everything we may not have got the second goal?

Like most of Twitter and Facebook I was showing my frustration toward the lack lustre performances from players, but I am not going to continue now as we actually won the game.

As many famous managers say it’s the winning ugly that’s important. We have had some great games were we dominated this season (and against the likes of Man Utd), but to now be winning the ugly games (it does show a big change), thanks to AVB and Co.

Whether we win by 1 goal or 40 goals I really don't care at any stage of the season as long as we maintain a high level of consistency. AVB has brought us this and for that again I will state my happiness of his appointment and Levy's shrewdness to pull the deal off.

All we need now is for Wigan to do a smash and grab and beat a Sunderland side that are in trouble, but know that it will be Wigan that faces the drop this year.

COYS oh and for tomorrow night COYW!!!!!
