After another away game at Colchester we head to Hong Kong for the Barclays Asia Trophy where our first game will be against Sunderland.
With a rapidly growing fan base out in SE Asia we will certainly not be short of support, so I am sure that the lads will not be witness to any empty stadiums.
Then in August we are away to Monaco (3rd Aug) and roundup with Espanyol at home on Aug 10th.
With so much travelling around it is expected to be a tough pre-season and our Daw's is the first to speak about the pre-season;
“It will be interesting to go away and play English teams in pre-season,” said Michael, who enjoyed such an impressive second half of last season.
“I’m sure it will be good test and the atmosphere will be fantastic out there.
“It’s all about hard work and preparing for the first game of the season. That’s the most important thing. It’s pre-season, we’ll be focused and all working towards that first game against Palace.”
I for one cannot wait for the new season to start, but at the moment its more about who we have coming in that really excites me.
