Martin Atkinson did not use the assistant referee's non anyone else to make a blatant bias decision that led to a Chelsea goal. I believe that swift action must be taken by the FA. Yes anyone can state that it ended 5-1 to Chelsea and it would have made no difference, but any mistake of that size causes major turns in a game.
Martin Atkinson should be fired. The FA are too weak to show that when mistakes are made by their referee's that they rectify their mistake by taking action against the individual. They were quick to jump all over Di Canio from shoving the ref, but when the ref's make these type of mistakes where is their punishment.
I would personally like a response from the FA and Martin Atkinson as to how this is acceptable? Can anyone give some information as to how this should be allowed to continue in the professional game.
