Firstly Walker has been injured throughout the season and his form has come into question, so maybe we should concentrate on recruiting at the right back position. Clyne is similar in style to Walker so could this be the right transfer?
If Eriksen was moved back into his favoured position of central midfield this would leave a gap that Rodriguez could fill. There are questions as to whether the left winger is good enough but as one of the top scoring English players from this season you can't question his ability too much.
With Pochettino knowing both players well only he can make that decision. However Alex Crook Talksports man on the south coast believes it could be a deal more likely to happen.
