Rudulph's Club closed for good on the final game of the season and although it was not a perfect finish it still received a great send off from many a fan. Tony walker owner of the club has been running the place for 38 years and will be sad to see the place go, but for his place to now be part of the development of the new football stadium will be something to be proud of.

Rudolph's Club will be made into a car park as part of the new stadium development and although it is the end of an era it is now going to go down in history as part of the new beginning.

Tony had this to say:

“It was a lovely day – shame about the football result though.

“Lots of people were here to party and I said goodbye to a lot of good memories.

“I got lots of a cards and letters from people and I even had some old spurs players come in on the day to say goodbye.”

“It’s sad for the staff and the supporters because they will have nowhere to go.

“It’s emotional because I have watched 38 football seasons from her and this was the last ever.”

I wish Tony all the luck in his retirement and really do hope that it brings him as much joy as when he was working his socks off drinking with us fellow fans!

Cheers Tony!!
