Silly Mistakes still costing Spurs

Last updated : 11 February 2015 By Hoggg

Against Arsenal it was a complete lapse in awareness that allowed Ozil space to take an easy shot to slot past Lloris. It was the one notable mistake of the whole game. Although if we look at the Liverpool game it was full of them.

Bentaleb had his worst game for Spurs in a long time, single handily allowing Liverpool to score the first goal and they should have scored at least another two from the midfielders mistakes. Dier in the last minute not paying attention to Balotelli in the dying minutes of the game.

We showed character against Arsenal and played exceptionally well, but as always after one great game we cannot hold that level of concentration, that high intensity into the next game(s). But I have to ask why?

What is it that stops Tottenham from playing consistently well.

It would be great to finish in the top 4, but come the summer I truly hope that Levy supports his manager and brings in the required players to take the club onwards and upwards.

What we need to do in the mean time is concentrate for the 90 odd minutes and then continue to for the next few games to build momentum and confidence. I appreciate the 2-1 hard fought games, but I would like the players to feel like the did against Chelsea.

So what is it that we need to do to move forward lets have the fans views, forget the bias pundits that only care about their old team!
