Valencia have made it clear that we are in talks over the striker, but as you would expect they have put a cut off in place (so that they have the time to search for a replacement).

So they are willing to negotiate, but in an ideal world they want £25million (his release clause), which would help their financial situation.
The clock is now officially ticking and we have 2 weeks yesterday to make and complete the signing of Soldado.
I would not be surprised to see this one finish with a happy outcome for us, but you never know it is football after all.
