AVB had been in tlks to land the Inter star in the summer, but supposedly left it too late. So he is now pushing to get the South American for January.
What I find interesting is that he cannot get into the Inter squad?
However the attacking fullback would add further depth and needed competition to the left back slot. With Jan Vertonghen having to play out of position and not particularly happy about it we would be better off not relying on playing anyone out of position.
With the left back dropping out of favour for Inter it is said that he is available on the cheap. In my opinion are we not better off with a long term defender in Luke Shaw?
I am a little hesitant that he is the player that AVB wanted at Chelsea, but if he is available on the cheap it couldn't hurt could it?
For those that like Squawka after 4 appearences he is now on -4! Yet again it doesn't fill you with faith does it? However do not fear he managed to score 546 points last season scoring 1 goal and 4 assists.
What are your thoughts?
