Sturridge, Adebayor and Lewandowski

Right as we all agreed there was a serious lack of information coming out one targets to fill the much needed attackers roles. Well now that all the rumours of Vertonghen, Sigurdsson and Fryers(imminent)b being for filled it was inevitable that more rumoI like the sound of all 3 and god knows we need them, however the likely hood of getting Sturridge and Adebayor seems far fetched. Lewandowski is one of the top srikers in Germany and currently playing for the German Champions, so why would you leave that for a club finishing in 4th in the EPL (its unlikely)
So lets take a look at each player and their rumours.
Daniel Sturridge was in great form for Chelsea under AVB and it was definitely apparent that he played the best under him. There are rumours of £5-£10million, but what is the likely hood of Roman allowing him to leave for us (when we would not entertain their offers for Luka). It is tit for tat in football and although Roberto is not interested in starting the youngster, with Drogba gone he may become a big requirement (depending on who they are looking to bring in). I would say that Sturridge to Spurs is a 3/5 chance of happening.
Emmanuel Adebayor is definetely surplus to requirements at Man City and it is very unlikely that he will stay. There is a clause in the loan agreement that we are able to buy him at a figure believed to be £10-£12million. The stipulation is whether or not we can agree with Ade on wages, but yet again a work around has been mooted with a hefty sign on fee (believed to be in excess of £5million). So whether we are about to see him coming back into the ranks are yet to be seen. I would rate Ade coming to Spurs as 3/5.
Robert Lewandowski is a highly sought after striker and I believe this rumour to be laughable. The only tenuous link is that AVB wanted him at Chelsea. I do not feel that this warrants anything further I rate this as 1/5 for him coming to Spurs.
I do take a step back with all the rumours coming out and some of them are so wild you need to ignore them. Interesting that all these "Big" deals have no real sources and no quotes or comments from any party stating the truth in the rumours.
