Swansea reaction

Right first things first we got 3 points. No one can argue that we didn't deserve the 3 points, however there were some notes that I had taken down that I feel were important.

The man of the match award could have easily swayed between Jan or Gareth and in my opinion I thought Gareth pipped it with a goal, an assist and essentially a goal line clearance. You have to say though that the 2 went forward well and did a superb job of showing that we haven't lost our touch completely (as the Swans are no push over).

The 2 goals were without a doubt brilliant and again goal of the game could have gone to either player as both oozed class.

When we start positive and move the momentum on quickly we are hard to then catch up with, so the international break proved that we were in dire need of not rest mentally more than physically!

Ok were their concerns? Of course there were, but I think it was jitters that will wash out with some momentum behind us, a win against Basel will help push us on and ready for Everton at home on Sunday.

Ade and Defoe are names that now keep coming up. In all fairness there were a lot of comments against Ade, but some shone through. My favourite is that if you take Ade's miss off he had an OK game. His performances are not what you expect of someone collecting his wages and if he had of scored then it would have been a different story. Defoe then came on and did not out perform Ade, so once again we cannot differentiate between the 2 if neither are currently performing well. Yes we need more from them, but I think that we will get more from them as the season comes to a close. JD did start the season well and then as we have seen before  faded as the season progressed. I don't care what any negative Nancy's have to say they are a Spurs player until they are sold and I will support them as true Spurs fan.

Ask yourself this, if the team had not have sat back (and allowed Swansea the possession) would we have created more chances giving our forward's more of an opportunity to score? Of course so let's not jump on their back too much or we will have 2 ineffective striker to see the season out and we will be a one man attacking team!

I don't see anyone jumping on Dawson’s back for his poor marking of Michu, but they have on Ade and JD. Seriously guys look at what a bad atmosphere creates, Chelsea are a prime example and they are suffering no matter what anyone says.

Lets pull together yes we are not perfect but no team is (not even barca). Support the team because they are your team, they are your players, your staff, most importantly they are your CLUB!

Also a reminder for all those that are happy to do so, please vote on the below link. You can opt out of all the sales stuff, please show your support for a fellow spurs fan that wants our help:
