After 30 games last season Tottenham sat in 4th with 55 points and a goal difference of +18. We did consider this to be a good season (it was only due to Chelsea winning the C.L that we missed out).
Currently after 30 games we are now sat in 4th with 54 points and a goal difference of +14, pretty similar right?
So as it stands we find ourselves in a similar position, however our form is currently better in that we have lost the past 2 EPL games and 1 won, where as last season we had lost 2 and drawn1.
I don't care if AVB doesn't like or even look at stats, it is a great thing to help access the difference in the 2 managers. Harry had a free scoring striker Ade (who was also getting double figure assists), a free scoring midfielder in Rafa and a world class midfielder in Modric. We have since lost two of those players and the other is dramatically underperforming. So to compare last seasons’ squad to this seasons and see that we are pretty much in a similar position after a loss of 2 major players, 1 player that is now underperforming and a complete change of the back staff, I think we are not singing the team and managers name enough!
Even though the team seems a lot more solid compared to last year it is not as competitive. So let's get right behind everyone and do our best to let the team know we are right behind them and their manager!
