The stadium's a delight

Notably at half time we were looking worse on paper than we actaully were in the game itself.

Going 1 nil down was gutting to say the least, however we had played well other than our front 2. The same old thing is starting to crop up and that is that Defoe keeps going off the boil as he is being guaranteed a place. Adebayor is pretty much happy now as AVB has begun to run with the 4-4-2 formation. So essentially we have 2 strikers, but no competition for either.

If you ask me I feel that we should push Bale into the attacking role and see where that leaves us? That way (without spending) we create a new attacker (that is capable), whilst spending a massive £0! This is the cheap option should Levy feel that he has spent enough in the summer. If you ask me though he could not be more wrong if he feels that.

However the second half presented us fans with less possession, but a more positive approach to the game with 2 goals (although it could have been 3 or 4).

Lloris had looked great when called upon again and as for the little engine who could (Lennon), well isn't he looking good again?

All in all a happy ending to a mixed 2012, but most importantly we have to shout it out form the roof tops, AVB was the best option and likely (sorry for saying it Arry) better than Harry Redknapp. We now have a team that is capable of beating the big boys (Utd), but it is not all guns a blazing... no it is a more controlled football.

The most important thing I can say with confidence is that all the fans will be wishing the team, AVB and the rest of the staff a very Happy New Year!
