The war is not over

Yes we should not have left it to other teams to do us the favour and we had every opportunity, but dropped points against the "small" clubs have cost us.

That aside again we are still in with a chance, its not over yet! Arsenal travel to Newcastle to secure a victory and Champions League football. Yes we all know that Newcastle now have nothing to play for other than pride, but either way there is a chance. Only a win for Arsenal will guarantee them this spot and I would happily put money on Newcastle getting a point from the game (St James's park is not the best place for visiting teams) and let’s face it, it’s a home game for Newcastle so the fans expect a good finish. Newcastle's last home game was a 6-0 thrashing by Liverpool, so the players must be looking to right that wrong surely? However you have to go back to March for Arsenal's last loss (which was against us). So on form Arsenal are the favourite’s, but Sunday will not be a great day throughout the game for either team. It will certainly be a rollercoaster! I can see cheers coming at all different times , but I think it is us that will have the last laugh.

I still believe that we will beat Sunderland as they too have nothing to play for and have had a very torrid time in the league, however in the past 6 games Sunderland have won 2 compared to Newcastles 1.

All I hope for is that we go out on Sunday and play our hearts out. If we finish with a win then I am happy, forget what the Arsenal score is. If we fight to the end you never know what could happen.

Positive positive positive, or as I heard on the TV the other day, teamwork makes the dream work (haha brilliant).
